Ditches are our Fenland hedges
By carefully managing our drainage ditches we provide breeding birds shelter and feeding areas. Also a range of aquatic plants and animal species especially invertebrates such as water voles.
Operation Bumble Bee
Red clover rich conservation areas are bringing back Bumble Bees.
Barn owls
We have installed 4 owl boxes around the farm as we no longer have any redundant barns. 3 of these boxes have produced young.
Swaffham Prior fen
We have planted 3,500 new trees in the hope of creating a new native wet woodland. We have also planted 3.7km of new hedgerows.
