We grow 500 acres of winter wheat, producing around 1,500 tonnes annually.
'Triticum' is a cereal grain much of which is ground into flour.
Wheat provides more nourishment for the human race than any other food source.
Drilling takes place during the Autumn months, and weather permitting, is harvested in August.
We currently grow the following varieties; Grafton, Cordiale, Crusoe and Mulika.
